Biblical Mapping

To develop the discipline of Biblical Mapping.

The term Biblical Mapping has certain connotations. The meaning for KCR is identifying and mapping sites as recorded in the authorized versions of Christian Bible. Some of the sites have what is known as a prophetic significance. There is a spiritual aspect to the site. It is not in any way the practice of occult geomancy and divination. These are to be seen as not helpful. A technical list of terminology will be produced to explain the differences.

Research and Methodology

To identify the location, history and significance of Biblical sites using credible research methods in the fields of theology, history, archaeology and digital mapping.

This includes assessing current proposals and investigating alternative theories.

To use professional and modern research methodology.

Development

To develop soundly based information around the research conclusions. Explaining the role of each site in supporting the Biblical view and history of events in Bible lands.

Promotion

To produce and publish books, films, periodicals and other media for communicating the evidence and information related the research to the public.

Education

To provide educational material for interested groups in the form of lectures, courses, seminars, workshops and other means of instruction.

Pilgrimage

To support pilgrimage to Biblical lands and sites, particularly by providing relevant information to enrich the tourism experience.

Community Development

To educate and support communities who are the custodians of Biblical sites and encourage them in ways to improve tourist attraction, infrastructure and experience.

General

To do all things deemed necessary by the Board of Directors to help advance the overall purpose of the Company.
